The hospital sector holds great economic importance in Brazil, contributing to the GDP and ensuring quality healthcare services. However, it faces challenges in adopting new technologies and management models. Innovation goes beyond therapies and medical devices, encompassing digitalization, artificial intelligence, and professional development. In this context, ESG (environmental, social, and governance) practices are essential for operational sustainability, reducing environmental impacts, and promoting the well-being of employees and the community. Based on the complexity of the innovation process in healthcare, this article aims to establish an association between technological and environmental innovations implemented in hospital units and their possible impacts on revenue. This study employs a qualitative and bibliographical approach, based on the analysis of relevant articles and references. It is concluded that innovation in healthcare, from the ESG perspective, balances technology, sustainability, and financial viability. Its implementation improves hospital efficiency, reduces environmental impacts, and generates economic benefits, consolidating a more responsible management model aligned with society’s needs.
